Affordable cosmetic treatments from a highly experienced cosmetic nurse
Sharing a space with Lorina at Inya Beauty & Cosmetic Tattoo is Emma Levett, a cosmetic nurse with 23 years of experience.
Emma trained and worked as a beauty therapist in London, before moving to Canberra and working with cosmetic surgeons and skin care clinics across the Capital.
In her time, Emma has had extensive experience with cosmetic procedures such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, micro-needling, skin cancer removal, laser therapy, face massage, acne treatment and prevention, and much more. She has been trained on the application of hundreds of skin care products, and has since produced her own skincare range: Lite Nurse.
Lite Nurse contains the same ingredients and is made by the same manufacturer as one of the industry’s leading (and most expensive) skincare brands. But because it doesn’t carry the brand label it’s less than half the price!
Emma hates to see people waste money on ineffective or needless treatments. Her passion is using her vast knowledge to get the quickest and most painless results.
Lite Nurse: Lite Nurse is a cosmeceutical skin care range with the same ingredients and manufacturer as one of the country’s leading skin care ranges – but for half the price. Products are highly concentrated and absorbed into the skin at a rapid rate. Visit Emma at Inya Beauty to see the full range.
Medical Grade Skin Peel
Using a solution comprised of exfoliating agents, a medical grade skin peel works by removing the top layer of skin and stimulating the rejuvenation of new skin cells.
Ideal for: oil control, anti-ageing, fine lines, hydration, pigmentation, acne treatment, removal of dead skin cells.
Microdermabrasion uses a small vacuum-like device to remove the top layer of dead skin cells and circulate the blood in your face.
Ideal for: creating even skin tone, removing dead skin cells, promoting circulation, draining clogged pores, toning skin. Can be used in conjunction with a skin peel for acne treatment.
Micro-needling (also known as collagen induction therapy) is a non-surgical procedure that causes controlled skin injury, which then promotes even healing and total rejuvenation of the affected area. Used in conjunction with LED yellow light treatment to promote faster healing and minimise redness.
Ideal for: Pigmentation issues, acne scarring (not for acne treatment), fine lines, even skin tone.
LED Light Therapy
LED light therapy is a safe and effective way to treat and rejuvenate the skin. The different colours of light have different benefits. White light therapy can help with depression, as the light goes through your eyes and into your brain to stimulate your mood. Yellow light is used for skin healing, red for collagen build up, and blue for acne.
Ideal for: stimulating mood, relaxing and calming the skin, rejuvenation, collagen build-up, healing.
Acne can have huge negative physical and emotional effects on teenagers and adults alike, and many of the commonly-prescribed drugs have terrible effects on the body and mind. There is a better way to treat acne, particularly with an approach that encompasses skin treatments, make-up choice and application, and skin care.
Emma provides a range of treatments and advice, and is passionate about using this holistic approach to help acne sufferers regain their life and self-esteem by eliminating acne and acne scarring.
Emma has spent years perfecting the art of facial massage which, when done correctly, can have incredible benefits for the face and skin. It not only promotes circulation, but can aid in toning muscles and promoting relaxation, detoxifying and removing waste from lymph nodes, tension, fine lines and more.
